Absa Capital will be moving to a new building located in Sandton, the heart of Johannesburg’s financial and business district. This will bring Absa Capital closer to its target market and go a long way to enhancing its public presence.

To date, the building is one of the greenest buildings in South Africa, with a design that embraces bioclimatic principles and an engineering solution that exceeds local best practice. The state-of-the-art façade includes double glazed, solar performing glass and solar shading. The atrium roof design and internal layouts make maximum use of the natural light. Energy efficient, motion-sensitive light fittings, daylight-sensitive external lighting, solar water heating, rainwater harvesting and recycling will all contribute to minimising the building’s carbon footprint.
